Incense Grains Frankincense-Eritrea peasize 1kgs
Order in a secured payment environment

Description
Single origin Eritrean frankincense, sorted to peasized grade in a 1kg pack. Larger grains than the standard siftings named origin on the label and a clear step up from the unmarked olibanum that fills most shelves.
About the resin
Frankincense from Boswellia papyrifera, harvested in the Horn of Africa where the tree is native. Eritrea is one of the most respected origins for this species, with a long, mostly artisanal harvesting tradition. Pure resin, no perfume oils, no pigment, no processing beyond grading.
What peasize means
Peasized grains run roughly 5 to 10mm, noticeably larger than the small fragments in standard siftings. They light slightly slower but burn longer per grain, and they look like what customers expect frankincense to look like in the jar. The grade matters to buyers who choose resin by sight as much as by scent.
Who buys it
The origin-conscious customer, the one who reads the label before the price tag
Catholic, Orthodox and Coptic users who prefer pure frankincense to perfumed blends
Practitioners blending their own incense, who want a clean named-origin base resin
Aromatherapy, herbalist and natural-product shops
Yoga, meditation and serious retail spaces, where peasize sits well in glass display jars
Pairs well with
- Quick-light charcoal tablets in bulk
- Myrrh siftings or whole myrrh tears, the classical partner resin
- The Romulus blend, for shops carrying both single resins and blends
